Learn practical wound-packing and tourniquet skills to control life-threatening bleeding. This course was developed by the American College of Surgeons. No prerequisites — open to everyone.
California EMT Skills Verification
Hands-on EMT psychomotor skills verification for California recertification, including instructor evaluation and SCVF sign-off.
Special Event Services
First-aid standby for suitable community and special events in Sacramento County, including basic first aid, CPR/AED response, emergency recognition, and 911 activation.

Stop the Bleed is useful for workplaces, schools, restaurants, security teams, community groups, and anyone who wants practical bleeding-control skills.
Is EMT Skills Verification a full EMT refresher?
No. EMT Skills Verification is a hands-on skills verification appointment. Contact us if you also need CE hours or refresher options.
Can specialty training be done for groups?
Yes. Group and on-site training may be available, depending on the course and instructor availability.
