Special Event Services
A calm, visible first-aid presence for suitable community gatherings and special events in Sacramento County.
First aid for minor needs—and early action when an emergency occurs
River City CPR can provide a designated first-aid station or roaming first-aid presence for suitable events. Our role is to provide basic first aid, recognize emergencies, activate 911 promptly, and help guide responding emergency services to the person who needs care.
Coverage is planned around the event’s attendance, activities, setting, duration, weather, access for emergency responders, and distance from local EMS resources.
A prepared first-aid presence
The final coverage plan depends on the event and is confirmed before the event.
First-aid station or roaming presence
A clearly identified first-aid station or roaming responder that attendees and event staff can approach for basic first-aid needs.
Basic first aid
Care for minor injuries within the responder’s training, available equipment, and authorized scope.
CPR and AED response
Immediate CPR/AED action when necessary, alongside rapid activation of the 911 system.
Recognition, referral, and documentation
We recognize concerns that need a higher level of care, provide basic incident documentation, and coordinate with event leadership and responding EMS.
